612A Utility Cabs in Atlanta
Altec 612 cabinets (unloaded) vintage studio
I went to look at these with cash in hand, but became convinced that one of the cabs is a repro -- a pretty good one, but a repro nonetheless. Both cabinets are solid and I would have bought them anyway but I don't have an immediate use for them. Maybe someone here can use them. They come with casters, too.

Not a bad price.
Perhaps you omitted commentary on the repro purposefully, but if not, was there something definitive that ultimately gave it away?
(Not that gut feeling alone is to be ignored)

The front baffle cut-out looked like it was done with a jig saw on the (suspected) reproduction and didn't have a uniform round-over. Also, the repro didn't have the small cut-out at the bottom of the rear baffle or the corresponding wooden piece that has the speaker terminals in it.
The overall construction was good and solid, but without a use for them, I thought it best to pass.

With new grill cloth and a pair of 604's in there I suspect you could have easily got your money back out of them.If flipping was a consideration.
